Riverdance is delighted announce our cast for our performance on Thursday 19th in the Conference Centre in Dublin’s Docklands in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Chieftians, Westlife and Mary Byrne will be among the headline acts with Riverdance to play for the invited 2,000 guests to celebrate Ireland’s links with Britain.

The packed opening night of the Saskatoon run of Riverdance proved the city still has a hearty appetite for Irish step-dancing — an athletic, energetic dance style that first captured global attention 17 years ago.

Since its premiere in 1995, “Riverdance” has become an international phenomenon of Irish rhythm and dance. In the 16 years since then, the show has been performed more than 10,000 times for more than 22 million people.

Riverdance returns to the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin from 28th June to 28th August 2011.

This summer there is a new 8 shows per week performance schedule and reduced family ticket prices.

Touching your heart and moving your feet, the original international phenomenon RIVERDANCE returns to Hong Kong from 3 to 15 May 2011 for 16 performances only!

In spite of the rainclouds that descended on them in 2010, June 6 will see another intrepid band of Riverdancers return to the streets of Dublin to run this year’s Flora Women’s Mini Marathon.
Once more they will be running to raise funds for the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital’s Research Foundation and to remember their friend and former dancing colleague Dr Eithne Walls.

The great thing about Riverdance is that it has a broad appeal, according to its principal dancer Craig Ashurst.
