Riverdance – Eurovision Song Contest, Dublin 1994

The biggest commercial success of the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest was none of the songs, but the interval act Riverdance, the original seven-minute version which was first performed and transmitted to an estimated 300 million viewers worldwide on the night of 30th April 1994. The Irish dance sensation went on to be a world famous stage show, which would be seen by millions of people all around the world.
