Patricia Henry writes about the fundraisers Anthony Fallon held for St. Luke’s Hospital in Dublin. He came up with the idea that they should do a danceathon, so everyone got involved. They danced continuously for two hours in the Gaiety Theatre on Thursday 20th of August!
Hello again, its hard to believe that our time off has gone by so quickly and that I’m back again writing the tour Diary, except this time it a little different, were not exactly on tour instead we are performing in the Gaiety Theatre Dublin for 10 weeks. This is Riverdance’s sixth consecutive year to return to the Gaiety for the summer run.

Brioni Gallagher has always loved the music in Riverdance and thought it would be a fantastic show to be part of.
“Your mind probably goes into a different world when you are dancing on stage. It never goes blank but certainly any stresses or strains that you have certainly disappear for a few moments. It’s a very good pressure that keeps you on your toes! (Excuse the pun)”
It is hard to believe that we started our tour 6 months ago. The city we began in was Orlando and time definitely flies when you’re having fun. Our final week was split between two cities, both very different.
I can not believe that our five weeks in Toronto is finished. We have had such an amazing stay here. Since most of our time here was fast paced, the last week and and a half was spent relaxing and finishing all of the things we had left to the last minute!

Padraic’d best Riverdance moment was performing the principal role for the first time. “I never told my mum I was an understudy so she flew out to me for my first time not knowing I would be lead. It was pretty cool.”
