Over 100 dancers spread St Patrick’s Day cheer in Sydney as Irish Dancing erupted in spectacular Central Station Sydney. Dancers included members of Riverdance and school children.
Riverdance has been selected for a special performance in the Convention Centre, Dublin on May 19th to mark the historic visit by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to Ireland
RIVERDANCE will entertain The Right Hon. Julia Gillard, MP, Prime Minister of Australia at the Lansdowne Club Luncheon in Sydney on ST PATRICK’S DAY.
For the first time in eight years the pounding feet and swirling music of Riverdance returns to Sydney for the last time playing at the Capitol Theatre from 18 to 27 March.
Riverdance will also have a presence at the Sydney St Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday 20th March
Be prepared for some fascinating Irish and other dance choreography in both graceful soft shoe style, and strong rhythmic hard shoe pieces. The magic of the choreography is brought to life by an intricate mix of some very beautiful music compositions.

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery – which must make Riverdance one of the most admired shows in recent showbiz memory. But the original remains the best, according to more than 22 million people who have seen Riverdance since it began life in Dublin as a seven-minute interval act at the Eurovision Song Contest in April 1994.
The legendary Riverdance production took the Mother City by storm last week as thousands of fans descended on the GrandWest Arena for the Irish dance show.
Since its first performance in Dublin in 1995, Riverdance has captivated audiences worldwide with an artistic format rooted in Irish tradition.
The Riverdance Flying Squad were invited to perform at the 8th edition of the Doha Watch & Jewellery exhibition. The exhibition was organised by the Qatar Tourism Authority, with over 450 designers and more than 50,000 people expected to visit.
