Gerard from Donegal, Ireland began dancing at the age of 5 for the McNelis Cunningham Boyle School of Dance. During a successful 14 years of competing, he won several prestigious competitions, including three World Championship titles. He has performed with shows including Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, Rhythm of the Dance and Celtic Steps. Gerard took centre stage for his first lead role with Titanic Dance which toured in Belfast and China. Following this success, Gerard joined Riverdance in 2018. He had the honour of meeting President Joe Biden in the United States Capitol Building with Riverdance in 2022. He has toured extensively worldwide and in the summer of 2024, Gerard made his debut performing the principal role in the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin. He would like to thank his family, friends and teachers for their continued love and support and is looking forward to performing across the globe with Riverdance for many years to come.
