Ellie-Mae embarked on her dancing journey at the age of 11 with the Claddagh Academy in London. Throughout her competitive career, she placed 6th in the World, top 5 at major competitions across the globe and was crowned North American National, Scottish National and Southern England Oireachtas Champion. In 2017, Ellie-Mae was awarded a scholarship for the Riverdance Summer School and was then selected to perform alongside the Riverdance troupe in a matinee performance in Dublin’s prestigious Gaiety Theatre. At the age of 18, Ellie-Mae began her professional dancing career with Lord of the Dance. Off-stage, Ellie-Mae is a certified makeup artist and in 2020 she launched her very own lash range – MAE – which is worn by dancers all over the globe on both the competitive and professional stages. It has always been a dream of hers to perform with Riverdance and she is honoured to be a part of the troupe performing in the 25th Anniversary Show.
