Riverdance taps in Jilin, Northeast China Report by CNTV
Ireland’s popular show Riverdance premiered in Northeast China, pulling the audience out of their seats and tapping their feet to the rhythm.
Riverdance is the world’s most successful Irish dance production. It’s not just a rapid scissoring footwork, but also an interpretation of the life and spirit of the Irish people.
The music for the show, consisting largely of Celtic tunes, has also been a huge hit around the world. The producer of Riverdance hopes their performance can help ease the trauma the flood had brought to the local people in August.
