Conal Duffy, from Dundalk, Co. Louth, is a multi-instrumentalist making his debut with Riverdance in this production. A winner of senior and under-18 slow airs competitions at the All-Ireland Fleadh, and a recipient of the Corn Uí Chinnéide award at Oireachtas na Gaeilge, Conal has performed internationally with Celtic Thunder across North America, with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland at Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, and with Dublin Irish Dance on tour in the United States. He has also performed as a soloist with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, and the UCD Symphony Orchestra, with performances at prestigious venues including Áras an Uachtaráin, New York’s Lincoln Center, and Boston Symphony Hall. Conal arranged music for the Nós Nua Folk Orchestra and has recorded with artists including Jinx Lennon and David Keenan. In 2023, he performed for the St. Patrick’s Day Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.
