Fiddle
Ellen from County Waterford began playing the fiddle when she was 3 years old. Her four siblings are also fiddle players. Ellen won her first All-Ireland medal at 10 years of age. She won numerous provincial and All-Ireland titles in both fiddle and viola, most recently the All-Ireland senior duet champion in 2022. She has Fiddler of Dooney and Ed Reavy Fiddle awards. She performed on RTE television, Fleadh TV, TG4, Raidió na Gaeltachta and Céilí house on RTÉ Radio 1 and has performed in Italy, France, Denmark and Sweden. Ellen is studying at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick and she also teaches fiddle classes to young musicians. Ellen is delighted to be part of the Riverdance cast performing in the Gaiety Theatre.
