Riverdance’s first visit to Jordan has been a week to remember, performing three outdoor shows at the stunning Roman Theatre, Amman.
The Riverdance team embarked on a new adventure exploring the capital. The cast shopped in the bustling markets and discovered the colours of Rainbow street. They also hiked to the top of the Citadel to the remarkable Temple of Hercules that overlooks the old city, including the theatre.
The cast and crew also visited the Dead Sea, 420 metres below sea level and the lowest point on Earth. Everyone covered themselves in mineral mud and floated peacefully in the water, taking in the incredible views. Another highlight was our company trip to the famous archaeological site, Petra. It was the capital of the ancient Nabatean Kingdom and is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
