In celebration of the 20th anniversary, Riverdance is proud to be headlining at the Mayor of London’s St Patrick’s Day festivities ahead of the upcoming UK Tour.
While St. Patrick’s Day may fall on a Monday this year, that won’t stop London from celebrating in Trafalgar Square and throughout central London on Sunday March 16th.
The celebrations kick off with a parade from noon, this years theme is World of Dance. The parade will cover a 1.5 mile route passing some of London most iconic Landmarks including The Ritz, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and onto Whitehall.
Trafalgar Square will play host to a festival during the day and Riverdance as the headline act, is scheduled to be onstage at 17:40 for a finale of dance numbers from the show.
Organised by the Mayor of London, it will be a fun and lively celebration of the very best of Irish culture boasting a world-class programme of Irish entertainment including performances by stars of the hit West End musical The Commitments, and Kíla, the famous Irish folk group.
