A busy summer season in Dublin
Julian Erskine, Snr Executive Producer
Our 10th summer season of Riverdance at the Gaiety Theatre is now over and with nearly 60,000 people attending the show, 2013 has been one of our busiest summers yet in Dublin.
A lot of work was done on the production this year with Director John McColgan taking rehearsals prior to the show opening. John really invigorated the cast with an energy and excitement that was palpable every night of the run.
A new lighting design was inaugurated and most exciting of all – The Russians returned!
Fans of the show will be aware that for the last couple of years the show was run in a revised version that did not include the troupe of Russian dancers. But we have decided that we will celebrate our 20th Anniversary next year with the re-establishment of the show as it used to be.
There is no doubt that with all this work being done to the Production, The Liffey Company that will set off in January 2014 to commence our 20th year of performance will be an entertainment to be reckoned with!
This @Riverdance Foyle Co. currently in the Gaiety is a pure joy to behold and at its heart is an Irish dance troupe of serious excellence
