Riverdance Costume Designer Wins An Emmy

 

Riverdance costume designer Joan Bergin, along with wardrobe supervisor Susan O’Connor Cave, won an Emmy for their work on the TV series, The Tudors at the 62nd Primetime and Creative Arts Emmy® Awards in Los Angeles.

The Tudors, which is filmed in Ardmore Studios, Ireland, stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, James Frain and Henry Cavill. Filming of the final season of the series has been completed.

Joan has previously won an Emmy for Outstanding Costumes for a Series in 2008, with O’Connor Cave, and in 2007 with costume supervisors Ger Scully and Jessica O’Leary. She has also won two Irish Film and Television Awards for her work on the series.
